24 hours cycling in a maximum team of 6 on a closed motor racing track. Safe, fast and fully visible to spectators!
Norwell Motorplex, Queensland
The event will be held in a racetrack where teams of 6 (max) will compete to cover the most laps within the 24hrs.
Teams’ progress will be monitored throughout the 24hrs and live updates will be shown on a large screen as well as on an app for those at home wishing to stay updated.
The winner is the team that covers the most laps in 24hrs which means it is up to the teams to strategize their game plan (eg. 6 cyclists = 4 hrs each OR swap cyclists every hour etc)
Teams will have their own rest stations around the track with each team required to bring their own tent. The option for caravans to be parked as rest space is also available.
Bring the whole family, club or firm as the set up for spectators is fantastic with the whole track on display. There will be food trucks and entertainment available on Saturday night until 9pm and again from 11am Sunday leading through the finish at 3pm.
Riders are more than welcome to wear your own cycling kits but are encouraged to wear the MND and Me socks that are provided with your registration for unity on the track.
